Prop Jake Shearer began playing rugby at Cumnock RFC.
He played with the east Ayrshire outfit from U13 to U16, before moving to Ayr RFC.
In 2024, Shearer progressed to the Ayr FOSROC Super Series side Ayrshire Bulls and made four appearances for the team.
He made his Scotland U20 debut in the final of the 2024 World Rugby U20 Trophy, coming off the bench as Scotland beat USA U20 to win the trophy.
Outside of rugby, Shearer is studying Business Analysis and Technology at Strathclyde University.
