Scottish Qualified Lauryn Walter began playing tag rugby at the age of 7 at her local Primary school.
After catching the rugby bug, Lauryn began playing at Doring RFC and the Ashcombe School. She then had a three-year spell with Old Reigations RFC before joining the Harlequins Centre of Excellence. Before their collapse in 2023, Lauryn played at Wasps.
Lauryn has since gone on to sign with Ealing Trailfinders and has featured in the 2023/24 season of the Allianz PWR.
The energetic back-row qualifies for Scotland through her mother, Caireen, who was born in Edinburgh. The family relocated to England when her mother joined the British Army.
Sport is very much at Lauryn’s core, having taken part in athletics, badminton and swimming competitively throughout her school years. She has also represented SETA (South East England) in the England Touch tournament in 2022, where they came out on top.
