Molly Wright first started playing rugby at the age of 4 in Reefton, New Zealand.
Her first coach was her father. She played rugby growing up and continued it when she moved to Canada at 16.
When she moved back to New Zealand to study she carried on playing at the University of Otago.
Wright was selected for the first time for Scotland Women in January 2020 as part of the squad that travelled to Spain.
Wright, from New Zealand, qualifies for Scotland through residency.
The former Watsonians hooker won Player of the Match in the Sarah Beaney Cup in 2019.
Wright currently plays for Premier 15s side, Sale Sharks.
