BBC Radio Scotland are to provide live broadcast commentary of Glasgow Warriors home Magners League matches on their Friday night sports programme.The programme goes out on 810 MW from 7-10pm. The intention is that the first half will have broadcast commentary via their on-line service before switching to Medium Wave to cover the second half. The last part of the programme will involve a magazine type discussion, with coverage of the club game included.BBC Radio Scotland’s rugby coverage will feature John Beattie, Bill Johnstone, Gary Parker and Brian Donald.In advance of the season’s Magners League start, BBC Radio Scotland have advised that they wish to cover next Friday’s (31 August) Glasgow Warriors v Newcastle match at Firhill which kicks-off at 7:30pm.
