Content coming your way this week

Scottish Rugby, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby are working together behind the scenes to ensure you still get your weekly fix of rugby and again this week have plans of live games over the weekend, workout videos and new podcast episodes.

This week’s plans are detailed below – and will be updated – so why not take a read through what’s on and schedule in your rugby reads, listens and games to watch!

Scottish Rugby

Jamie Ritchie will be calling in to join The Official Scottish Rugby Podcast this week as our podcast hosts Chris Paterson, Al Kellock and Jamie McMillan all call in from home. This will be released on Wednesday and we advise that you subscribe to the podcast on your usual podcast platform to get a notification as soon it’s released. If you are a new listener or want information on how to subscribe and start listening, click here for details.

We are encouraging fans to join us again this Friday evening for another full ‘live’ replay on Facebook and YouTube. Please note this week’s game will only be available in the UK due to rights restrictions around Guinness Six Nations matches.

We asked you to vote on our Twitter page (@Scotlandteam) for the game you’d like us to show this Friday and you’ve selected the classic encounter with Ireland from 2017. We look forward to watching it again with you on Friday night!

We’ll also have an exclusive interview with former captain, Greig Laidlaw on scottishrugby.org on Thursday, as he looks back on that memorable game against Ireland.

If you are looking for something to do with your young rugby fans, visit our recently launched ‘Kid’s Corner’ which includes activities and resources. We will also be updating the area this week with new things for our young supporters!

Edinburgh Rugby

This week, Edinburgh will be kicking off their content with a new written feature, Player Picks, which sees the capital club’s squad detail some of their favourite podcast recommendations, including Joe Rogan and The Peter Crouch pod!

On Edinburgh’s #WorkoutWednesday, there will be the next episode of StayFit with Edinburgh as Head of Strength and Conditioning Nick Lumley shares his tips for keeping in shape at home, while there will be plenty of video content from the players who are taking part in their own home workouts.

Finish the week with #StayAtHome with Blair Kinghorn as the Scotland fullback chats us through his favourite Netflix Series, Xbox games and more, before the capital club once again stream a live classic match on Saturday – this time the famous away win over Toulon from January 2019 – in the next part of their Capital Classic series.

Glasgow Warriors

Join in on Tuesday on the Glasgow Warriors social media channels as they host Trivia Tuesday with a range of games to test your brain and have fun.

Zander Fagerson will be the guest on the Glasgow Warriors podcast on Wednesday and then on Sunday you can watch the 2014 classic against Bath in full – tune in from 3pm to watch with the Warrior Nation on Facebook and YouTube.

We’ll also be sending content direct to your inbox, so if you haven’t signed up to our mailing list yet, then you can do so here.
