Edinburgh U18 take on Glasgow U18 at DAM Health Stadium on Sunday (kick off 1pm) as the best players aligned to Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors face off for junior bragging rights.

Players who hail from Edinburgh and Borders and East Lothian academy areas will be selected to represent Edinburgh Rugby whilst those from the Caledonia and Glasgow and the West areas will represent Glasgow Warriors.

The match will act as a selection opportunity for the Scotland U18 programme, which gets underway next month.

Edinburgh Rugby U18 are the defending champions, winning last year’s contest 52-10 at The Greenyards, Melrose.

Edinburgh Rugby U18 Head Coach Robert Grigg and Glasgow Warriors U18 Head Coach Euan Clark have both named their sides for the clash.

The teams are selected based on performances in regional academy matches as well as with the players’ clubs and schools.
