Hamilton Rugby Club Coach
Statement by Donald Woodrow club president Further to my recent communication regarding the resignation of Ian Morrison as Head Coach the Committee and senior individuals within the Club have met to discuss and agree the medium to long term actions required. We have invited Stuart Eynon to take on the role of Head Coach for the remainder of this season, or until an appropriate successor can be found, and we are delighted to report that Stuart has accepted this challenge. In this role Stuart will ultimately be responsible for and will have the final say on playing matters within the Senior Club. He will continue to be supported in the 1st squad by Backs Coach Craig Sangster, Forwards Coach/Captain Richard Maxton, and Team Manager John Lindsay. In order to continue to support the significant progress that has been made by the second XV under Stuarts’ guidance we have also appointed Iain Pritchard as 2nd XV coach. He will continue to be supported by Team Manager Roddy Wallace These changes take immediate effect. No change has been made within the 3rd XV structure. Having now discussed and agreed our medium to long term requirements in more detail we will now commence the recruitment process to appoint the appropriate personnel to take the Club forward. Our thanks go to those who have accepted these challenges, and we request all of our Members to continue to be pro-active, positive, and supportive, and to offer whatever skills and services you can for the benefit of the Club.
