Jason White called on anybody who thinks they may know something that might help lead to the safe recovery of Madeleine to come forward. He said, “It’s impossible to imagine what Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry must be going through right now and my heart goes out to them. “We can help play a part in making sure the search for Madeleine is headline news. Her dad, Gerry, is a fellow Scot and the family are keen football fans. “There are times when sports can successfully unite and play their part in publicising something really important. This is one of those times. “Madeleine’s parents have asked all of us to redouble our efforts to help bring her home and I’m appealing to everybody now to do just that.” The international number for Crimestoppers is +44 1883 731 336. People with information about Madeleine can call anonymously. All players in the Border Reivers v Ospreys Magners League match on Saturday 12 May wore yellow arm bands in support of Madeleine’s plight.
