Ten players who were involved in Saturday’s loss did not train today.  Captain Mike Blair is following the return to play protocols that must be adhered to in the aftermath of a head knock; centre Max Evans and flanker John Barclay are continuing their rehabilitation following shoulder and ankle injuries respectively, likewise stand-off Dan Parks (knee), hooker Ross Ford (shoulder), lock Jim Hamilton (back), prop Alasdair Dickinson (shoulder) and wing Rory Lamont (quad). Two other players, flanker Ross Rennie and lock Nathan Hines, were also rested from today’s session though both are available for selection for this weekend.
