Media Enquiries

All urgent media enquiries over the festive period should be addressed to [email protected] in the first instance. There will be daily monitoring of this inbox over the festive period, except for the Scottish Bank Holidays (25, 26 December and 1, 2 January)

Any enquiries related to Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby, as well as any details around the 1872 Cup matches, should be directed to their communications teams.

Charity Requests

Please note that any charity requests sent to the Communications and Stakeholder teams over the Festive break will be administrated as able.

Media Accreditation

Accreditation is now open for the Guinness Men’s Six Nations and the U20 Six Nations. Further details are below.

For any questions regarding the media accreditation process, please email:  [email protected].

If you do not receive a response over the festive period, please be assured that we will deal with it on our return in January and prior to any deadlines.

Accreditation Application Process

All media need need to create an account on our accreditation portal to apply for accreditation for Scottish Rugby events.

Please note, we are now using a new accreditation portal which can be found at https://accreditation.scottishrugby.org/Media.

To apply:

  • Log in or create an account.
  • Once you have created your account, you will be able to then select what matches that you can apply for.
  • Please detail what outlets you will be working with if you are freelance, or any further details that may support your accreditation request. The place to do this is on the first page for further info.
  • If you are a social media journalist, this needs to be specified and any requests for further access rather than what written media get needs to come to the [email protected] prior to accreditation closing.
  • Ensure all details are accurate and your organisation is correct for each match. Please update your account if this changes between tournaments. If you are working for different organisations for matches within the same tournament, please make that known.
  • Applicants will be informed if you have been successful or unsuccessful in your application. Please do not request updates to your individual application unless you have concerns it was not completed technically or your requirements have changed.

The deadline for applications is two weeks prior to the match. Late applications will not be accepted.
