A Scotland 7s stalwart, Ross McCann spent five seasons on the international circuit, playing nearly 200 games for Scotland an, latterly, Great Britain.
The former Royal High School pupil represented Scotland U20 and Melrose before committing to a successful sevens career, which saw him experience selection for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo (delayed until the year after).
McCann also represented Scotland at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and Rugby Sevens World Cup.
He signed a professional deal with Edinburgh Rugby for the 2024/25 season after impressing during a short stint, and made his full Scotland XVs debut against Canada in Ottawa in the opening match of the 2024 summer tour.
