Auchterarder and Shawlands triumph in Girls’ Schools Cups
Scotstoun Stadium was treated to two try-scoring games of rugby as the Girls’ Schools’ Cup finals produced some great attacking play.
Community School of Auchterarder turned the tables on last year’s result as they overcame champions Biggar High School in the U18 competition.
The Perthshire school led by five points at the break and were able to push on, after Biggar pulled level, to win 39-29.
Caitlin McLaren from Community School of Auchterarder picked up the player of the match award.
