Safeguarding Training

Take part in our Scottish Rugby CWPS and CWPO courses this season.

Scottish Rugby’s brand-new Safeguarding courses are now live.

There are two courses available which you can book via SCRUMS.

We have outlined below who needs to sign up to which course. There is also a full description of all Safeguarding courses available to download.

Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport – Rugby

This course is open to anyone at all levels at clubs and for CPOs that haven’t attended sport specific safeguarding training in the last 3 years. As Child Protection Officers, we would highly encourage you to share this with your clubs so everyone has the opportunity to sign up to this course. There will be 24 in-person sessions run this season throughout Scotland which can be booked via SCRUMS (browse courses). This is a highly interactive session which deals with real life scenarios – the aim is to give everyone a basic level of understanding of safeguarding in sport.
