Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter of this prize draw is Scottish Rugby Limited of Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ.
2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over who are already Scottish Gas customers or become Scottish Gas customers by time the prizes are awarded in line with the dates below, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
4. All entries must be submitted by filling in the online form and only one entry per household is permitted. By submitting the details, entrants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and to have consented to: a) competition entry; b) the winner’s name, details and image being recorded and published for promotional purposes by Scottish Rugby or its authorised representatives.
5. The opening date for entries is 10am on 22nd May 2024. The closing date of the prize draw is 5pm on 21^st June   Entries received after this time will not be considered.
6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
7. A winner will be chosen by random draw on 21st June 2024 (“Draw Date”).
8. PRIZES
   • There will be one (1) winner of the prize draw. The winner will receive:
9. One (1) £150 Scottish Gas energy voucher, to be applied at latest 30 days after receipt of voucher to the account of (i) any new or existing and (ii) duel fuel or single fuel Scottish Gas customer;
10. Two tickets to every Scotland Men’s, Scotland Women’s, Scotland U20 and Edinburgh Rugby home game in the 24/25 season, subject to the Promoter’s standard ticketing terms and conditions in seats selected at the sole discretion of the Promoter;
11. One signed Scotland Men’s XV replica shirt; and
12. meet and greet with one Scotland Men’s XV player selected at the Promoter’s sole discretion following the Scotland vs Portugal Autumn Nations Series match.
    • There will be fourteen (14) second place prizes. Each runner up will receive:
13. One (1) £150 Scottish Gas energy voucher, to be applied at latest 30 days after to the account of (i) any new or existing and (ii) duel fuel or single fuel Scottish Gas customer.
14. Two tickets to Scotland vs Portugal at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on 16 November 2024, subject to the Promoter’s standard terms and conditions in seats selected at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
    • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the winner outlined in 7.1 and second place prize-winners outlined in clause 7.2 shall be considered the “Winners”.
15. The Winners will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) before 28 June 2024. If a Winner does not respond to the Promoter within seven (7) days of being notified by the Promoter and is either (i) not already a Scottish Gas customer; or (ii) does not provide evidence of having actioned switching it’s energy supplier to Scottish Gas within four (4) days of accepting the prize, then the Winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
16. The prize or instructions of how to receive the prize will be sent to the winner by the Promoter within 7 days of being notified of their win.
17. The prize for the Winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. If a Winner is unable to accept any element of the prize due to ineligibility, the prize in its entirety will be withdrawn and a new Winner will be randomly selected.
18. Elements of the prize are supplied by Scottish Gas (the “Supplier”). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
19. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
20. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who contacts the Promoter within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
21. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
23. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
24. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in Scottish Rugby Privacy Policy.
25. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by Scots law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in Scotland.
