Gus Warr moved to Dollar Academy for his final year of school, and went on to represent Scotland at U18, U19 and U20 level as part of the set-up at English Premiership club Sale Sharks.
The scrum-half made his Sharks debut against Harlequins in 2018, and featured in the semi-final and final as the club were Premiership runners-up in the 2022/23 season.
He made 25 appearances for the club last season season, scoring three tries and helping them to the domestic play-offs. Gus qualifies for Scotland through his mother, who hails from Strathaven.
Warr earned a first senior Scotland call-up ahead of the 2024 Skyscanner Americas Tour and enjoyed a fruitful debut, scoring two tries in the opening win over Canada in Ottawa.
