1872 Cup matches rescheduled
The United Rugby Championship have today confirmed the rescheduling of the two 1872 Cup fixtures which were postponed in December and January due to COVID-19.
The Scotstoun leg of the 1872 Cup will now be played on Friday 18 March (kick-off 7.35pm),
Due to the lack of available weekends beyond the Six Nations window, it was not possible for URC fixture organisers to schedule this game at another time with any certainty.
The deciding match of the 1872 Cup will now be played in Round 18 at BT Murrayfield, which will take place on the weekend of 20/21/22 May.
Exact details and broadcast arrangements will be confirmed in due course.
Match tickets for the rescheduled 1872 Cup fixture at Scotstoun Stadium remain valid for the new date. Tickets for the Edinburgh leg of the 1872 Cup are now back on sale, with all existing tickets (match tickets, season tickets and half season tickets) valid for the new decisive derby date.
