The FOSROC Super Series Championship this year has expanded by one team with the addition of the FOSROC Future XV. The addition of the seventh team has extended the competition, providing more game time for the original six licensed teams and the opportunity to face up against a new and exciting opposition.

Each of the seven teams will play each other on a home and away basis with the exception of the FOSROC Future XV, who will play all of their games away.

Teams will accrue points in a traditional table format which will determine their positioning leading into the semi-finals in November and ultimately decide who will be in the top two spots heading into the 2023 Super Series Championship Final.

The competition begins with a capital clash as Boroughmuir Bears host Heriot’s Rugby at Meggetland on Friday 28 July. The second double header of the Friday evening sees the new FOSROC Future XV on their first outing to the Greenyards to face up against Southern Knights.

Finally, the most recent winners will battle it out on the opening weekend as last season’s Super Series Champions Watsonians make the journey to Millbrae to take on the current Super Series Sprint winners Ayrshire Bulls on Saturday 29 July.
