2024 National Youth Cup finalists named
Sixteen teams, competing in eight finals, will take over Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Sunday 15 December, to contest the National Youth Cup competition titles.
Entry is free to all eight matches, which will be held across the main bowl, Hive Stadium and the back pitches, with the first matches kicking off at 11am, and the last game – the Boys U18 Cup Final – kicking off in the main bowl at 5:30pm.
Stirling County return to the U18 Boys Cup Final for a second year running and this time will face competition from Currie Chieftains.
Currie’s U16 boys’ side will also be in action as they look to retain last year’s title. They take on Boroughmuir in the U16 Cup Final at Hive Stadium.
Looking at the girls’ competition, Biggar are looking ahead to potential back-to-back Cups in both the U16 and U18 competitions.
In the U16 Cup, Biggar are looking to at back-to-back championships after their title victory against Stirling County last year, this time facing Cambuslang who make their debut in the competition.
Four matches – both boys and girls U16 and U18 Cup Finals – will be broadcast live on YouTube and can be watched worldwide via Scottishrugby.org featuring live commentary.
Highlights packages will be made available for all matches, not just the matches not broadcast live on the day.
