2026 Guinness Men’s Six Nations fixtures confirmed

Next year’s Guinness Men’s Six Nations fixtures have been announced with Scotland set to play Italy away from home in the opening round of the championship.

The match will take place on Saturday 7 February, kick-off 2.10pm and will be a re-run of this year’s opening match where Scotland won 31-19 with Huw Jones scoring a hat-trick.

The following week Scotland will then take on England on Saturday 14 February, kick-off 4.40pm, as they look to win back the Calcutta Cup following the narrow loss at the Allianz Stadium earlier this year.

In round three, Scotland will travel to Wales for the match on Saturday 21 February, kick-off 4.40pm before the only fallow week of the competition. This marks a change from previous years where there has been two fallow weeks.

Scotland will then face France on Saturday 7 March, kick-off 2.10pm against an opposition who they last beat in 2023 ahead of the Rugby World Cup.

The championship will be rounded off on Saturday, 14 March in Dublin where Scotland face Ireland in the first match of super Saturday.

The matches will be shown by BBC Sport and ITV after a new four-year partnership for the live free-to-air rights for the Guinness Men’s Six Nations Championship was agreed, which will run concurrently from 2026 to 2029.
