Scottish Rugby have worked with
Premier Sports to broadcast this year’s Summer
Test fixtures against France and Georgia. Dominic
talked about that deal and how we will watch rugby games in the near future,
saying:
“The way
we are all consuming our content now is changing before our eyes – so I think
we are looking as 6 Nations and all rights owners, at what the market is going
to look like over the next few years… so there’s definitely change coming.”
Answering a question regarding
the travel disruption after the Scotland v France game in Edinburgh, Dominic
said:
“We are really disappointed
and frustrated at the experience that some of our customers had heading back
from BT Murrayfield – so we’ve spoken with the Chief Executive of Scotrail to
express our disappointment and our fans disappointment directly to them –
because we expect as part of our experience on a matchday that you can come,
you have a wonderful time and you can get home safely and securely. I think
there is a little bit more work they need to be doing and we are in dialog with
them to encourage them.”
