Despite a large Watsonians support in the crowd on Sunday near Paris, Sarah-Louise Walker and Louise Fraser could not help Scotland’s women to record a victory against a strong home side. A number of the Watsonians who had travelled to Paris for the weekend – Mary Pat Tierney, Sara Mears, Barb Wilson, Ruth Cranston, Pam Woodman, Sheena Buchanan, Karen ‘KT’ Taylor, Clare Murray and your correspondent – had made the journey to the ground to cheer on the Scots, some feeling slightly worse than others following the previous night’s festivities.
