In the West of Scotland, Glasgow Warriors will continue their fight to finish as one of the top-five teams in the Magners League tonight (kick-off 7:30pm) when they host title-chasers, The Ospreys, at Hughenden. With such a crunch clash for the Warriors, three of their squad members, Mike Adamson, Ben Addison and Jamie Hunter – who have all played on the international sevens stage this season – will don their national sevens jersey and help promote the event which takes place on 2-3 June at Murrayfield. The following day, at the season’s biggest event for the country’s amateur club teams – National Cup Finals Day at Murrayfield, Rhuaridh Jackson and Colin White will be doing their bit to encourage supporters to come along to Murrayfield in June for an action packed weekend which will feature the world’s top teams over two days of fast flowing, skilful and dynamic international rugby sevens together with a fun-packed Festival of Rugby on the back pitches, making it the not-to-be-missed event of the summer. This season’s seventh highest points scorer in world sevens, Mike Adamson, who will play for Glasgow Hawks in tomorrow’s Cup Final against Edinburgh Accies, said: There is quite a big weekend ahead for rugby supporters of both the Warriors and of the clubs involved in National Finals Day tomorrow. ‘The 7s boys are really keen to do what they can to help make our leg of the Sevens World Series as much of a success as possible and we’re really looking forward to meeting the public and telling them about how great sevens is both to play and to watch. Tickets are available now for the Emirates Airline Edinburgh 7s at the great value price of only£10 for one day or just£15 for both (with free concessions on all pre-booked tickets).
