Scottish Rugby has today announced the second phase of its sponsorship deal with John Lewis. The retailer has become its official formalwear supplier. John Lewis will supply specially tailored suits and accessories for both players and management before the squad leave for the Rugby World Cup in France next month. The formalwear was launched at Murrayfield today with head coach Frank Hadden and a group of international players wearing the new suits. Suit you Sir! Scotland team manager Guy Richardson said: The Rugby World Cup is our game’s ultimate showpiece and it’s important the whole team are well presented and maintain the highest standard while representing their country. We are delighted with the suits John Lewis has supplied and the final look of the Scotland team.John Lewis has selected a design that complements the rugby physique, while remaining effortlessly stylish. Each member will be dressed in an individually tailored two-piece suit, shirt, tie and shoes. Andrew Murphy, managing director John Lewis, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, said: We are extremely proud to be supplying the Scotland team with their official formalwear for the Rugby World Cup and are committed to ensuring Scotland is seen in the finest quality and style on and off the pitch.John Lewis joined forces with Scottish Rugby earlier this year as the official sponsors of the Youth League Cup and Scottish Schools 7s competition, to develop rugby in the community and provide more opportunities for young players.
