So with the Scotland Women’s team taking on France in the first international of the day, head coach Lee Adamson is hoping his side can help kick-off a winning day for Scottish rugby on home soil. Adamson said: We are determined to build on the improvements we made in our individual and team performances last season. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the players to set a marker for the two men’s teams playing later in the day and we hope that those going to Murrayfield will come along and cheer us on first. Scotland Womens captain, Jilly McCord added: Our games against France match are always one of the highlights of the championship and there has been an average of only eight points’ difference between the two sides since 2000 We played some fantastic rugby against the French last year and we’re excited by our potential to cause an upset this time round, especially on home turf. Entry to Sunday’s game is£5 for adults and free for concessions (under 18s, students and OAPs). Adults with a ticket to the men’s international at Murrayfield will also be granted free entry.
