He will undergo an MRI scan at SPIRE Murrayfield Hospital tonight and is in the care of the Edinburgh Rugby medical team and consultant John McKinley.Taylor (Saracens) suffered abdomen and shoulder damage in his club’s match against Northampton Saints at the weekend and is being treated by the Saracens’ medics.Back-row forward Blair Cowan (London Irish) and hooker Scott Lawson (Newcastle Falcons) will sit out any contact training today as they played in the match at Kingston Park yesterday.A number of other players will also take a limited part in training as a consequence of ‘bumps and bruises’.
