Scotland have been handed home advantage in the opening rounds of the next two RBS 6 Nations Championships, against England and then Ireland, it was confirmed today with the announcement of the 2016 and 2017 fixtures.  2016                  Sat 6 Feb (4.50pm): Scotland v EnglandSat 13 Feb (4.50pm): Wales v Scotland Sat 27 Feb (2.25pm GMT): Italy v ScotlandSun 13 March (3pm): Scotland v FranceSat 19 Mar (5pm): Ireland v Scotland  Next year’s fixtures are full of mouth-watering clashes from the first week to the last starting with France hosting Italy in the first game.Round three also sees Ireland travel to Twickenham on the Saturday while the last round of games that will decide the 2016 winners will see Wales host Italy, Ireland host Scotland and France host England.With an average attendance of 72,000 per match, the RBS 6 Nations is rugby’s greatest attended event in the world and with this announcement fans can already start making plans.And it is not just the supporters in the stadiums who turn out in force, with millions of viewers tuning in from the comfort of their own homes and in pubs all over the world.2017…  2017Sat 4 Feb (2.25pm): Scotland v IrelandSun 12 Feb (3pm GMT): France v ScotlandSat 25 Feb (2.25pm): Scotland v WalesSat 11 Mar (4pm): England v Scotland Sat 18 Mar (12.30pm): Scotland v Italy  In 2017, the opening weekend will see one of England or France out for revenge in the Stade de France while the Red Rose will head to Cardiff in round two.The last round of games sees Scotland host Italy, France host Wales and Ireland host England.Broadcast in 190 countries and streamed live in another 20, the RBS 6 Nations doesn’t just boast the best players in world rugby, but also the title of most watched annual rugby Championship on the planet.
