Scottish Rugby TV to broadcast BT Premiership Grand Final

Scottish Rugby TV will be streaming the inaugural BT Premiership Grand Final, between Heriot’s and Melrose, at Goldenacre, this Saturday (kick-off 3pm).This is the first year Scottish Rugby has adopted a play-off structure, with the top four teams, at the end of regular league duties, progressing to semi-finals.Heriot’s, who finished top of the pile going into the play-offs, claimed a 17-13 victory over Currie in their respective semi-final, as defending champions Melrose, gained their spot in the final with a 22-20 defeat of Ayr.Taking the mic for match commentary will be the trusty duo of BBC’s Bill Johnstone and Scotland’s all time cap and points record-holder Chris Paterson.Coverage of the match will become permanently available on Scottish Rugby’s Youtube channel.
