Oban Lorne is saddened to announce the death of club stalwart John MacEachan after a brave struggle with illness.John was a pivotal member of Oban Lorne RFC and responsible for a great fund-raising drive towards the building of the clubhouse for which the club is eternally grateful.He was President of Oban Lorne from 1995-1997. He attended every match where he he could and remained loyal to Oban Lorne RFC.There will be a private family cremation tomorrow (Friday 17 Feb)  and a celebration of his life at The Argyllshire Gathering Halls in Oban on Sunday (18 Feb) at 2.30pm.
