Rugby supporters are encouraged to snap up tickets for next month’s European Rugby Champions Cup final at BT Murrayfield before the general sale closes for the weekend.EPCR will close ticket sales for finals for the coming semi-finals weekend in order to ensure that supporters of the finalists have equal opportunity to purchase tickets, once the identity of both clubs is known.Ticket sales will therefore be closed from 11pm UK and Irish time tomorrow (Friday, 21 April), with the precise timing of the re-opening of sales to be announced as soon as possible by the tournament organisers.Sell-out crowds are expected at both fixtures as Munster Rugby take on holders Saracens at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Saturday, with ASM Clermont Auvergne up against Leinster Rugby at the Matmut Stadium de Gerland in Lyon the following day.The increasing popularity of the Champions Cup has been reflected in attendances this season with the aggregate gate for the four quarter-final matches up by 62% compared with 2015/16.
