Scotland 7s forward Jo Nayacavou has announced that, following five years on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, he is calling time on his sevens career.
The Fijian-born forward made his debut for Scotland in the opening leg of the 2013/14 World Series in Australia, earning plaudits for his physical ball carrying and offloading skills.
Nayacavou was part of the Scotland team that claimed victory at the 2017 London Sevens, helping his side to beat hosts England 12-7 in the final at Twickenham.
He also enjoyed a busy 2018, representing Scotland at both the Commonwealth Games and Sevens World Cup in San Francisco.

The 34-year old played in 38 World Series tournaments over his five-year sevens career scoring 32 tries in the process.
A serving soldier, Nayacavou is a lance corporal in 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland (2 SCOTS).
Nayacavou said: “I have had an amazing 5 years playing for Scotland 7s and I am hugely proud to have worn the shirt so many times.
“I would like to thank all of the players and coaches involved with the 7s for making my experience so memorable. I have made friends for life.”
