Women’s Under-18s squad announced for Festival

4 Apr 2022

Scotland Women’s Under-18s Head Coach Duncan Harrison has named his 26-player squad for the Under-18’s Women’s Festival, commencing this Saturday (9 April).

The squad, which consists of 14 forwards and 12 backs, will participate in the festival hosted by Scottish Rugby on the back pitches of BT Murrayfield and at DAM Health Stadium.

This is the first Under-18 Women’s Festival, co-ordinated by 6 Nations, which will run in conjunction with the men’s event in France.

The festival will start on Saturday, with 35-minute games played out with 25-minute breaks in between them.

It will then finish on Wednesday 13 April, with those matches played in 35-minute halves with a 15-minute half-time period.

Scotland take on Wales (kick off 1.30pm) and Italy (kick off 3.30pm) in the Saturday games, before taking on Italy (kick off 2.30pm) again on Wednesday in the longer format.

Entry to the festival is free for spectators on both days.
