Isobel McGuire-Evans began playing rugby at the age of 12 with Telford Hornets RFC.
Prior to signing for Sale Sharks in 2023, Izzy played with Worcester Warriors and was part of the club’s Centre for Excellence for three years. During this time, she featured for England Sevens at U18 level.
The Scottish Qualified fly-half/full-back is eligible for Scotland through her Scottish-born Grandfather, John McGuire.
In the 2023/24 season, Izzy was drafted as a Transitional Player for Glasgow Warriors in the Celtic Challenge. She unfortunately suffered an injury in her first appearance and was ruled out for the remainder of the competition.
Prior to settling on rugby, Izzy played football for her county.
