TICKETS & PASSES

All Scotland match tickets and Scotland Season Passes are issued via the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App, which are scanned at the turnstiles for entry into the stadium.

Already downloaded the app?
If you already have the Scottish Rugby Ticketing app, please check and ensure you have downloaded the latest version. Once you have bought your tickets, they will appear in your app. If you’ve bought a few tickets for family or friends, transfer them to each person in your group once they have downloaded the app to their smartphone. (You don’t need to do this for children’s tickets).

GETTING TO HIVE STADIUM

Hive Stadium, situated within the Murrayfield campus and right next door to Scottish Gas Murrayfield, is located to the west of Edinburgh and is well served by public transport and is only a 45-minute walk from the city centre. Plan your journey and know your travel options by checking your travel providers website for all of the latest information ahead of your day.

By Train
Buy tickets in advance either at staffed stations, by phone (0344 811 0141) or at scotrail.co.uk. Plan ahead and ensure you check your travel providers website for any updates ahead of travel.

By Tram
Edinburgh’s tram line runs from Edinburgh Airport into the city centre and there’s a stop at Murrayfield. You exit the station onto Roseburn Street, where you follow the signs to Hive Stadium along the pedestrian walkway that links Roseburn Street with the turnstiles at the south end of the stadium. Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams. You can either use the ticket vending machines at trams stops or pre-purchase tickets on the Transport for Edinburgh App. To find out more and to pre-purchase your tram tickets visit edinburghticket.com.

By Bus
Lothian Buses run several routes throughout the city that service BT Murrayfield and onto Hive Stadium. All Lothian buses accept contactless payments or you can download the Lothian Bus mobile app to help plan your travel to the game. Visit lothianbuses.com for more information.

On Foot
Hive Stadium is approximately a 45-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre. From Princes Street head to Shandwick Place, which leads on to Atholl Place, then onto Haymarket Terrace. Continue and either turn left onto Roseburn Street at the Roseburn Bar (for the south turnstiles) or continue and turn left onto Riversdale Crescent at the Murrayfield Bar (for the north turnstiles)

By Car
There is no parking available for general supporters. There are a number of Blue Badge parking spaces available for wheelchair and accessible ticket holders. Parking for Blue Badge holders will be in Saughtonhall Car Park on matchday and access will be via Saughtonhall Bridge. Blue Badge parking must be PRE-BOOKED. Please note that there are new rules in Edinburgh City Council which ban pavement parking. There is no parking available in the streets around the stadium on matchdays.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Bags: no bigger than A4
A ‘small bags only’ policy operates for games at Hive Stadium. Ticket holders will only be allowed to enter the stadium with bags up to A4 size. The only exceptions to this rule are for supporters who require bags larger than A4 size for health reasons, including parents with young children who need to carry medical/dietary items. Note that sporrans and bagpipes are allowed into the stadium. All bags will be searched before tickets are scanned. There is no bag drop facility at the stadium, but the links below will show relevant bag-drop locations around the city.

What not to bring

FACILTIES AT THE STADIUM

Please Note: Limited Cash Payments
In the main, Hive Stadium (like Scottish Gas Murrayfield) is a cashless stadium, As such, there are no cash withdrawal facilities onsite and the majority of bars and catering units are card/contactless only. However, a limited number of units will accept cash: please speak to any of our Blue Crew who will be able to direct you to the nearest unit.

Macron merchandise at The Scottish Rugby Store
The Scottish Rugby Store, situated in the lower south-west corner of Scottish Gas Murrayfield, open to General Public throughout the day from 9am until 5pm and is usually open for Scotland Women and Scotland U20 games.

Range of Food & Drinks
A variety of food and drink stands are always available in the fan village to enjoy before and after the game.

Blue Crew
If you have any questions on the day, look out for one of our Blue Crew members who will be happy to help. During the game, contact your nearest steward (wearing a yellow jacket).

Supporter Wellbeing
Scottish Rugby wants everyone who comes to Hive Stadium to have a great match day experience. Supporters are encouraged to be mindful of others while enjoying all that is on offer. Scottish Rugby does not encourage nor tolerate ‘booing’ of the opposition at any point during the game and asks all fans to refrain from engaging in this activity.

We have a full medical team on duty for your safety and wellbeing, including First Aid, paramedics and doctors. If you feel unwell, please contact your nearest steward, who will direct you to further help.

If you mislay property in the stadium please contact your nearest steward. If you discover the loss after the event, contact our Customer Services team at [email protected].

Please also remember Hive Stadium is located in a residential area so please be respectful of our neighbours when arriving and leaving the stadium.
