BBC Sport to stream Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh home matches in Celtic Challenge
All Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby home matches in the Celtic Challenge will be available to watch live on the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
It has also been confirmed today that all matches in the Celtic Challenge will be available on streaming platform, RugbyPass TV for fans around the globe.
The women’s cross-border club competition returns for its second year, with an expanded format encompassing six teams, the competition will span an 11-week period from 29 December until 3 March, 2024.
The first match to be shown live on the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer will be the derby match between Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors at Hive Stadium next Saturday (30 December, kick-off 12pm).
Bruce Millar will provide lead commentary on the majority of the Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby home matches, with guest co-commentators joining him for each match.
On the announcement, Lynsey McMillan, Head of Marketing at Scottish Rugby, said: “This is a huge boost for the Celtic Challenge and our teams, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby, with all their home matches being streamed live on the BBC Sport platforms.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase our players in the expanded Celtic Challenge competition, which kicks off with a derby match between Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors next weekend.”
