BT Cup second round drawn by Scotland internationalists

Glasgow Warriors and Scotland internationalists, Lee Jones and Gordon Reid have drawn round two of the BT Cup.Matches will be played on Saturday 15 November and some tantalising-ties have emerged from today’s draw.Reid said: “I was fortunate enough to take part in and win the Scottish Cup with Ayr.  It is a brilliant competition that adds another level of excitement to the season.There are some interesting matches that have emerged out of today’s draw, that will be well supported and will allow teams to test themselves against new opposition.” Highlights to look forward to are the match-ups between GHA and Selkirk at Braidholm, Howe of Fife and Whitecraigs at Duffus Park and Hawick YM and Lasswade at Mansfield Haugh, respectively, as well as a capital city derby between Stewart’s Melville FP and Boroughmuir at Inverleith.In round two, the ninth to fifth-placed finishers from last season’s BT Premiership join the competition.At home Glasgow Hawks welcome Watsonians to Old Anniesland, Currie and Dundee HSFP meet at Malleny Park, Jed-Forest travel to Raeburn Place to face Edinburgh Accies and Stirling County welcome Falkirk to Bridgehaugh. Hawick, are the only BT Premiership team that will be on the road.  They travel west where they’ll meet Marr at Fullarton Park. BT Cup round two draw to be played on Saturday 15 November:GHA v Selkirk, BraidholmMusselburgh v Peebles, StoneyhillStewart’s Melville FP v Boroughmuir, InverleithHawick YM v Lasswade, Mansfield HaughHamilton v Aberdeen Grammar Rugby, Laigh BentMarr v Hawick, Fullarton ParkStirling County v Falkirk, BridgehaughGlasgow Hawks v Watsonians, Old AnnieslandEdinburgh Accies v Jed-Forest, Raeburn PlaceCurrie v Dundee HSFP, Malleny ParkHowe of Fife v Whitecraigs, Duffus ParkKelso v Preston Lodge, Poynder Park
