BT Sport Academy hooker joins Scotland squad
30 May 2018
BT Sport Academy hooker Grant Stewart will join the Scotland squad in Vancouver later today (Wednesday) as precautionary injury cover for captain Stuart McInally.
The skipper strained his calf on the eve of the national team’s departure (Monday) and will be rehabilitated by the Scotland medical staff on the tour, with Stewart slotting in alongside McInally and Glasgow Warriors hookers Fraser Brown and George Turner.
Stewart has represented Scotland through the age grades as well as the Club XV side.
He has made seven appearances for Glasgow Warriors this season alongside representing Glasgow Hawks in the BT Premiership.
