Eligible contact types and relevant funding amounts can be found below. The award amounts listed are per season for up to five years prior to the contract being signed.
- Pro Team Academy Player (Male) – £100
- Edinburgh Rugby or Glasgow Warriors Professional Contract (Male) – £500
- Academy Contracted Player (Female) – £100
- Contracted Player Based in Scotland (Female) – £500
The payments will be made automatically in the following September. For example, clubs will be paid in September 2027 for players who have signed a contract in season 2026/27.
The total amount payable for any player throughout their career with Scottish Rugby is £2,500.
