Dee Bradbury receives OBE
It was a double day of celebration for the Bradbury family yesterday.
Edinburgh Rugby back-row forward Magnus Bradbury was recalled to the Scotland squad for the upcoming Guinness Six Nations Championship.
And his mum, Dee, Scottish Rugby’s Immediate Past President, received her OBE from Scottish Rugby’s patron, The Princess Royal at an investitute ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
Dee, who became the first female President of a Tier One Union when she took up the President’s role for a two-season term in 2018, was made an OBE in the 2021 New Year’s Honours.
Last Autumn she was also inducted into Scottish Rugby’s Hall of Fame.
