There are a few spaces left on next week’s three-day Edinburgh Rugby summer camp (Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 August) and_the free to attend one-day skills camp next Saturday (13 August)!Read on for more details on how to apply, take part and meet the players!Tim Visser oversees the running drills at the St Andrews campEDINBURGH RUGBY SUMMER CAMPThere are still spaces available on the Summer Rugby Camp organised by the local regional development team.Running over three days, from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 August, the lucky rugby attendees will be put through their paces by qualified local coaches who will develop the youngsters’ rugby and general sports skills. As well as being informative, the sessions will be hugely enjoyable with attendees getting the chance to show off their skills on the last day when the Edinburgh squad take a break from training to join in the fun! FREE TO ATTEND ONE-DAY SKILLS CAMPFancy training with the pros? Want to show off your skills to the Edinburgh coaches and players? Next Saturday (13 August) youngsters from P4-S2 will be shown how the pro-team train by the players themselves!Youngsters will receive short coaching sessions by the local regional development team on various topics of the game, including handling and tackling, with a chance to show off their skills in small games with their favourite Edinburgh Rugby players and get pictures and autographs at the end of the session. This amazing opportunity is FREE to attend, but places must be booked in advance.
