Where and when did you start playing rugby?

When I was 15 at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

What was your first rugby memory?

Playing in the hot summer sun against my high school’s rival team.

Are there any other sports you enjoy playing or watching?

I like to try most sports, just for a bit of fun, and enjoy watching ice hockey when I can!

What motivates you?

Seeing how far I can go and how much I can improve and what I can learn from everything I try.

Tell us about your first Scotland cap

I was in South Africa and it was during our first match! It was incredible. The sun was shining, the crowd was creating an incredible atmosphere and we took the win as well!

What’s a personal goal you have set yourself for this season?

Continue to improve my scrummaging!

What is the most memorable match you’ve played in and why?

Our 2021 Six Nations opened against England; it was my first start. A hard game but I learned a lot and had fun too!


Who’s your favourite Scotland player to be on the pitch with?

I can’t pick just one! All the gals are good chat and great pals.

What are you currently watching?

Prison Break

What advice would you give to anyone looking to start playing rugby?

Just do it! The community is incredible and as soon as you start, you won’t look back.

What are the characteristics of a Scotland player on the pitch?

Hard-working, disciplined and having belief in oneself and the teammates beside you.
