Alex has been involved in the Scotland environment before, having played every game in the 2021 U20 Six Nations, and the second row also trained with the senior squad during the Guinness Six Nations in the same season, and again during the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Ben Muncaster made the move up to Edinburgh Rugby in June 2020 from Leicester Tigers, where he had been since the age of 14.

He played every game for Scotland U20 during the 2021 U20 Six Nations, scoring against Wales, and featured for Scotland A against Chile in 2022.

He then joined the Scottish Rugby Academy aligned to Edinburgh Rugby, and represented the FOSROC Future XV in Super Series.

He has featured for Edinburgh A this season, and also represented Scotland U20 in the U20 Six Nations and World Rugby U20 Trophy in 2024. He made the most tackles (77) and breakdown steals (12) in the U20 Six Nations.

Mosese Tuipulotu

The younger brother of our new captain Sione, Mosese Tuipulotu made the move over to Edinburgh Rugby from New South Wales Waratahs in the summer.

The centre made his debut for the Super Rugby Pacific side in 2023 against the Hurricanes, featuring in an impressive away win against the Crusaders.

A product of St Kevin’s College, Melbourne, Tuipulotu played much of his junior rugby in Victoria, coming through the ranks of the Melbourne Rebels academy.

Mosese and Sione qualify through their grandmother, who is from Greenock.

Originally from Auckland, Tom Jordan moved over to Scotland and began playing for Ayrshire Bulls. Impressing so much for the Super Series side, he signed a professional contract with Glasgow Warriors in November 2021, who he had been training with on occasion since 2020.

He made his professional debut in September 2022, starting at stand-off away to Benetton in the opening match of the 2022/23 BKT URC season.

He was the only player to feature in every game of Warriors’ URC-winning 2023/24 campaign, making his 50th appearance in the final.

He qualifies for Scotland on residency grounds.
