Nominations for Scotland Women U18 7s Now Open
Nominations are now open for girls aged between 16 -18 years old for the Scotland Women U18 7s programme. Rugby experience is not essential, but the potential to learn fast and develop is what we’re looking for.
The programme consists of a combination of performance camps and skills sessions, which culminate in competing at the Rugby Europe Championships in Prague. The programme will run from 3rd June –17th July 2023.
Eligibility
Girls born on or between 1st January 2005 – 31st December 2006 are eligible for nomination to the Scotland U18 7s programme. This aligns with the World Rugby age banding used in the planned tournaments.
GASPS – Player Identification and Development
The GASPS principles will be used to guide selection decisions within Scottish Rugby male and female pathway programmes. Players will also be developed in alignment with these principles through on and off-field coaching.
