Preview: Scottish Cup Semi-finals and potential men’s Tennent’s National League Division 1 conclusion

Find out all you need to know about the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup and another week of action in the men's Tennent's National Leagues.

The semi-finals of this season’s Scottish Cup take place tomorrow.

Ayr, who were 49-13 victors against Selkirk in their quarter final, host Marr, who claimed their semi-final spot with a 27-10 win away to Currie Chieftains.

Glasgow Hawks, who beat Heriot’s Blues 23-14 in the last round, host men’s Tennent’s Premiership champions Hawick at Hughenden.

Both games kick off at 3pm.

In the men’s National League Division 1, Kelso could wrap up the title if they get one point from their visit to Highland.

Should they fail to pick up any points, Ayr could still win the league with two bonus-point wins from their final two games.

They would also have to overturn a points difference deficit of 87.

It will be both sides’ last game of the season, and Highland could finish fourth if they pick up at least one point should Gala lose.

Gala travel to Aberdeen Grammar, and a bonus point win would guarantee them fourth with a game to spare.

Gala cannot catch Melrose in third, and Grammar’s relegation to Division 2 has already been confirmed.

Biggar, who are already guaranteed to finish sixth, host seventh-placed GHK, who need a bonus point win to guarantee their position.

Melrose cannot win the title but could still finish second with at home to Dundee, who sit in eighth and are just one point behind GHK.

This weekend, Biggar v GHK kicks off at 2.30pm and all the other fixtures are at 3pm.
