Scotland v Italy, the Guinness Six Nations opener at BT Murrayfield, saw three new caps added to Scotland’s list: Sam Johnson (1100) was later joined from the bench by Jake Kerr (1101) and Gary Graham (1102).

Glasgow Warriors Centre. Sam Johnson, started the Scotland v Italy test as Inside Centre, receiving his matchday shirt from one of the senior members in the squad.
