Tennent’s Men’s Premiership

It’s Round 17 of the Tennent’s Men’s Premiership this weekend and the games begin when Musselburgh travel to face GHA. With both teams yet to win a game in 2023, everything will be put on the line to add more points to the table.

One try separated the final score when GHA visited Selkirk last weekend, but ultimately GHA’s visitors left with the spoils.

Musselburgh also had a tough Saturday afternoon, only scoring one try against their hosts Edinburgh Accies.

It was a close score the last time the two teams met, but ultimately GHA came out on top with a five-point advantage over their opponents.

With both teams off the back of wins last Saturday, Heriot’s and Edinburgh Accies will be determined to continue their winning ways.

Seven points was what allowed to Heriot’s walk away from Stoneyhill with a win last weekend as they beat their hosts 6-13.

Current third place Edinburgh Accies dominated their opponents Glasgow Hawks in front of a home crowd on Saturday, winning 32-7.

All supporters were on the edge of their seats the last time the two teams met when Heriot’s managed to bag a 26-29 win against their hosts.

Jed-Forest made a statement in front of a home crowd last weekend when they sent their opposition GHA home with a 41-13 loss.
