Scottish Rugby in conjunction with Peter Vardy will launch a brand new content series named ‘My Drive’ this month ahead of the Autumn Nations Series kicking off on Saturday 29 October against Australia.

Hosted by former Scotland and Edinburgh Rugby winger Tim Visser, the series comprises of three episodes which will be released on separate dates, aiming to take a deep dive into the lives and careers of some of the national team’s biggest names and personalities, discovering what motivates them every day.

The first episode of the series will go live on Scottish Rugby’s YouTube channel and website on Sunday 9 October at 7pm where Visser returns to BT Murrayfield to chat to Pierre Schoemann. The duo take a drive into the centre of Edinburgh and find out more about the popular prop. The 28-year-old talks about life in the city and his pride of playing for Scotland.

Visser then took a trip down to Glasgow where he met up with former teammate Ali Price. The Glasgow Warriors scrum-half invites the cameras to his home, talking about setbacks and what the future holds. Price looks back on his 54 Scotland caps to date as well as a chance meeting with UFC superstar Connor McGregor.

The Ali Price episode will be available to view on Sunday 16 October at 7pm.

In the third episode, which will available on Sunday 23 October at 7pm, Visser goes back to where it all started with Edinburgh Rugby centre Mark Bennett.

The 29-year-old talks openly like never before taking the cameras back to his family home where he speaks about his early rugby memories and playing for Cumnock Rugby Club with his Dad Stewart. Bennett and Visser then tour his hometown before chatting at Cumnock RFC where his match shirts adorn the walls. The centre covers his career in detail, talking about how he overcame setbacks to be back starring for the Scotland team after a four year hiatus.

Across October there will also be separate quickfire question interview pieces with all three players and Tim Visser will also sit down to look back on his favourite moments in a Scotland shirt.
