Scotland complete the Italian job.

Scotland’s lineout isn’t straight.
After what happened in the last scrum, it’s perhaps wise that Italy have elected for a lineout.
Scotland get the scrum as Italy knock on.
And we’ve won the penalty from it! Huge shove from the pack.
We kick into Italy’s half.
There’s an issue at the maul from Scotland, and Italy get the penalty which they kick to our 22.
Their lineout goes long, but Scotland knock on and Italy will scrum.
Scotland absolutely dominate the scrum! They’ve won the penalty.
We kick to just inside our own half.
Meanwhile, Konkel-Roberts has passed her HIA and returns to the pitch in place of Eva Donaldson.
LANA SKELDON IS GOOD AT MAULS.

Konkel-Roberts will depart for an HIA, and is replaced by Eva Donaldson.
Italy kick ahead and it rolls out, and Scotland’s lineout isn’t straight again.
But Italy have knocked on from their lineout, so Scotland have the scrum as the clock goes red.

Italy were offside though, so we kick to the corner again…
This time it’s Scotland’s turn to kick it out on the full.
Italian lineout on halfway is the call.
It’s deemed to be a red card for Italy’s Sara Seye!
Scotland kick the resulting penalty to the corner.
A loose pass in midfield and Italy come flying up the pitch. Coreen Grant wins the race to the kick, but Italy win the penalty for holding on.
However, the TMO is looking at a potential high tackle on Konkel-Roberts just outside Italy’s 22.

Italy win a penalty and tap and go, and catch Scotland napping.
But not Chloe Rollie!
She tracks back and causes a knock on with a great tackle. Scotland have the scrum five metres from their line.
Scotland kick clear, but Italy counter and Vittoria Vecchini is in under the posts.
Italy start working their way forward again, but Christine Belisle holds up a player just inside Italy’s half and wins the turnover!
It’s our put in at the scrum.
Another maul try! This time it’s Barlett who grounds it for her second score of the game.

Scotland steal the lineout and exit, but Italy come again and Sara Tounesi scores from close range.
The conversion is good. Scotlnd lead by ten.
Italy can’t clear, and Meryl Smith rips the ball.
Scotland wrestle their way up to the line through Thomson, and Leah Bartlett finds the extra inches to reach the line!
Nelson’s conversion is good.
Italy win a penalty from the restart, and the kick to six metres out.
A change at scrum half, as Caity Mattinson replaces Mairi McDonald.
Italy knock on at the breakdown and Scotland have a scrum on halfway.
But we’re going to have a look at a tackle on Thomson as she kicked here, as the TMO intervenes…
It’s deemed to be a penalty, and Scotland kick to 10 metres out of the right side.
There’s an Italian knock on in midfield, and Scotland get the scrum.
They attack up both sides, before Italy are penalised for side entry at the ruck.
Nelson kicks for touch, but it doesn’t quite make it and Italy have the ball in their 22.
Italy drop the kick off forward, and Scotland will attack from the 22 in the form of a scrum.
Lana Skeldon grabbed our second try to give us the lead at the interval.
Italy win a penalty, and they will exit to just inside their half.

Scotland got the first points of the day through Louise McMillan, who finished off after fine offloads from Jade Konkel-Roberts and Rachel McLachlan.
Italy get a penalty and kick to touch, but the lineout isn’t straight and Sara Cox brings the half to a conclusion.
We lead by three!
Chloe Rollie gives it a punt up the right and hares after it.
Italy just about survive, but the clearance kick is out on the full.
Scotland will attack from around 30m out.
Italy knock on the kick off, giving Scotland a good platform here!
We’ll put into the scrum around 10 metres out.

Strong work from the forwards, and Scotland go back in front.
Nelson just wide with the conversion.
With penalty advantage, Scotland’s forwards push through the middle.
The referee has spotted something though, and brings play back for the penalty.
Scotland kick to just over five metres out.
A loose pass after the scrum gives Italy the ball back, and they kick it out around 35 metres out.
Scotland will go again.
Italy win a penalty from the scrum, and opt for another one.
They will put the ball in five metres out.
Another penalty at the maul, and Giordana Duca is shown to the sin bin.
We kick to 5m out again…
After several phases of pick and goes, it’s Giada Franco who gets over the line on the right side.
Michela Sillari’s conversion puts the visitors in front.
Scotland look the more dangerous, but Italy have another penalty as Scotland go off their feet at the ruck.
We’ll have a pause as players from both sides receive treatment. Christine Belisle was Scotland’s treated player, but she’s back up.
Scotland attack from midfield, but a loose pass is hacked on by Alyssa D’inca.
She beats Nelson to the ball and kicks again, but drops the ball a metre out and she looks to score.
Huge fortune for Scotland there.
The momentum is halted by a forward pass in midfield, and Italy will feed the scrum just inside their half.
Italy have a penalty of their own now, and they kick into Scotland’s half. A chance to breathe after some heavy pressure on them?
No! A knock on Scotland have the ball back on their 10 metre line.
Scotland kick clear, and Italy have knocked it on.
Scotland have the scrum on Italy’s 10 metre line, and a first chance to test their visitors.
Scotland get a scrum of their own from a knock on, and kick into Italy’s 22. Francesca McGhie makes an excellent tackle, and Scotland pile the pressure on.
Italy have exited not much outside their 22, and Scotland will have the lineout there.
Scotland make holes in that Italian defence through Helen Nelson and Lana Skeldon, and Italy have been penalised at a ruck.

Scotland have their tails up here, and Captain Rachel Malcolm has won a turnover penalty on half way.

A loose pass is picked up well and taken into contact by Coreen Grant on the right.
It’s then the turn of the forwards, and Jade Konkel-Roberts pops the ball to Rachel McLachlan, who in turn finds Louise McMillan for the score!

Scotland were defending well after clearing the kick off, but a high tackle gives Italy a penalty.
They’ve kicked it to touch on their left, and have a lineout halfway between the 10 and 22 in Scotland’s half.

Italy win their lineout and attack up the right, but a maul is created by Evie Gallagher, Rachel Malcolm and Lisa Thomson.
They swarm around the ball, and it becomes unplayable, so Scotland get the scrum in their own 22.
Italy have had much of the early ball, but Scotland’s defence stands firm.
Italy resort to the boot, and Scotland have a lineout just inside their 22.

Stand-off Helen Nelson is due to make her 50th appearance this weekend, having made her debut against France at Broadwood during the 2016 Women’s Six Nations.
Nelson is joined at half-back by Mairi McDonald, who comes in for her first start of the championship at scrum-half.
