Scotland’s lineout isn’t straight.
After what happened in the last scrum, it’s perhaps wise that Italy have elected for a lineout.
Scotland get the scrum as Italy knock on.
And we’ve won the penalty from it! Huge shove from the pack.
We kick into Italy’s half.
There’s an issue at the maul from Scotland, and Italy get the penalty which they kick to our 22.
Their lineout goes long, but Scotland knock on and Italy will scrum.
Scotland absolutely dominate the scrum! They’ve won the penalty.
We kick to just inside our own half.
Meanwhile, Konkel-Roberts has passed her HIA and returns to the pitch in place of Eva Donaldson.

However, the TMO is looking at a potential high tackle on Konkel-Roberts just outside Italy’s 22.

Scotland got the first points of the day through Louise McMillan, who finished off after fine offloads from Jade Konkel-Roberts and Rachel McLachlan.
Italy get a penalty and kick to touch, but the lineout isn’t straight and Sara Cox brings the half to a conclusion.
We lead by three!
Chloe Rollie gives it a punt up the right and hares after it.
Italy just about survive, but the clearance kick is out on the full.

Strong work from the forwards, and Scotland go back in front.

The referee has spotted something though, and brings play back for the penalty.

They will put the ball in five metres out.
A loose pass after the scrum gives Italy the ball back, and they kick it out around 35 metres out.

After several phases of pick and goes, it’s Giada Franco who gets over the line on the right side.
Michela Sillari’s conversion puts the visitors in front.
Another penalty at the maul, and Giordana Duca is shown to the sin bin.

Scotland look the more dangerous, but Italy have another penalty as Scotland go off their feet at the ruck.
We’ll have a pause as players from both sides receive treatment. Christine Belisle was Scotland’s treated player, but she’s back up.
Scotland attack from midfield, but a loose pass is hacked on by Alyssa D’inca.
She beats Nelson to the ball and kicks again, but drops the ball a metre out and she looks to score.
Huge fortune for Scotland there.
The momentum is halted by a forward pass in midfield, and Italy will feed the scrum just inside their half.
Italy have a penalty of their own now, and they kick into Scotland’s half. A chance to breathe after some heavy pressure on them?
No! A knock on Scotland have the ball back on their 10 metre line.
Scotland kick clear, and Italy have knocked it on.
Scotland have the scrum on Italy’s 10 metre line, and a first chance to test their visitors.
Scotland get a scrum of their own from a knock on, and kick into Italy’s 22. Francesca McGhie makes an excellent tackle, and Scotland pile the pressure on.
Italy have exited not much outside their 22, and Scotland will have the lineout there.
Scotland make holes in that Italian defence through Helen Nelson and Lana Skeldon, and Italy have been penalised at a ruck.

Scotland have their tails up here, and Captain Rachel Malcolm has won a turnover penalty on half way.

Italy win their lineout and attack up the right, but a maul is created by Evie Gallagher, Rachel Malcolm and Lisa Thomson.
They swarm around the ball, and it becomes unplayable, so Scotland get the scrum in their own 22.

Stand-off Helen Nelson is due to make her 50th appearance this weekend, having made her debut against France at Broadwood during the 2016 Women’s Six Nations.
Nelson is joined at half-back by Mairi McDonald, who comes in for her first start of the championship at scrum-half.
