Italy on the attack there, but the play comes too close to an injured player and physio and the referee eventually stops it.

Fergus Watson won’t come out for the second half, as the tryscorer picked up a knock.
He’ll be replaced by Johnny Ventisei, with Georgie Gwynn moving out to the wing and Ventisei slotting into the centre.
Both teams going for a max of a two phases for a couple of minutes there, before Scotland eventually win one of their own box kicks.
But it’s Italy who get the scrum, as Douglas is held up and a maul is created before the ball gets trapped.

Italy look like firing straight back, but a knock on from Pucciariello’s grubber halts their progress. Our scrum.
Italy win their lineout ball, and then Ruaraidh Hart is offside as he attempts to block a box kick.
The Azzurini kick their penalty down to halfway.

Italy’s lineout goes awry, and Coates kicks through. But it’s caught inside Italy’s 22, and the mark is called.
They exit to just outside their 10.
Italy make a mess after the lineout and Scotland dive on a loose ball. Coates then knocks a kick over the top of the Italian defence into the right corner.
It’s gathered by the home side, but Jimenez’s box kick is charged down by Patterson, and Euan McVie dives on it and slides over in the corner!

Jerry Blyth-Lafferty is freed on the right, and has a gallop. Then the ball is worked to the left where Jack Hocking stabs through a grubber, which goes out in Italy’s 22.
Tom Currie carries from the base of the scrum, then Hector Patterson fires up a box kick. But it’s gone straight out, and Italy will have the lineout on our 10.
We defend the maul well after the lineout, but Italy’s forwards inch towards the line and Piero Gritti gets under the posts.

Italy messily win their lineout ball, but then good pressure from Findlay Thomson on Six Nations debut forces a knock on.
We’ll have the scrum around 30m from our line, slightly right of the posts.
Let’s hope the game is played at a tempo quicker than the version of Flower of Scotland we just heard!
