South Africa get a penalty five metres out. They’ll opt to scrum.
Duhan knocks on into touch; South Africa go quick, they’re five metres from our line.
South Africa take a lot of the remaining time out of the clock but Scotland get the lineout around 35m from our line after a loose pass from Kolisi.
Scotland 15-25 South Africa
Pollard with the simplest penalty attempt offered up in the sport; right under the posts.
South Africa kick through and Jordan gathers but a knock on is found in the ruck. Away scrum under our posts.
Meanwhile, Tom Jordan is replaced by Stafford McDowall.
A long advantage but we go back for a penalty to South Africa at the scrum. They kick to around 30m from our line.
Jamie Dobie replaces White as Mapimpi returns from his yellow card.
Russell attempts to find Sione on the right wing with the kick but it moves awkwardly in the air and it goes forward. South Africa scrum just inside their 10.
The Boks exit to 30 metres from their line.
As the kick goes through, Zander Fagerson is replaced by Elliot Millar Mills.

Matt Fagerson plays the lineout jumper in the air and Pollard will kick for goal from the right.
Ewan Ashman, Pierre Schoeman and Rory Darge replaced by Dylan Richardson, Rory Sutherland and Jamie Ritchie.
Meanwhile, Williamson won us a jackal penalty but then South Africa returned the favour. They have a lineout around 35 metres from our line.
Scotland 15-19 South Africa
Scotland mess up the lineout, but Kinghorn keeps their clearance in and TJ runs down the left. We get the penalty under the posts, and Russell goes for goal.
Jones is almost through! He beats half of South Africa down the right flank after we steal a Springbok lineout. Mapimpi is then penalised for an intentional offside and sent to the bin. The penalty is kicked to the corner.
We go down the left after Kinghorn did brilliantly to keep the kick in play, but Jones’ pass to van der Merwe who was in space goes into touch on South Africa’s 10.
But the kick is kept in play! Scotland running from halfway.
How has Duhan not gone through there?!
Training ground move from Scotland as Zander finds Duhan and he’s almost away, but Etzebeth makes an incredible tackle as he’s retreating.
Jordan then goes down the right and then the forwards punch at holes, but Matt Fagerson eventually spills it. South Africa scrum deep in their 22.
Again Scotland will take that from a territorial standpoint. A couple of kicks each, Russell’s is missed by Le Roux and he must backtrack. He finds touch inside his own half, and we’ll throw in from there.
That’s even more unlucky!
Tuipulotu with excellent ruck work gets us the ball back, and we break up the right. Kinghorn kicks through but he falls on Le Roux as he gathered it. South Africa find touch with the penalty on halfway.
Kinghorn almost intercepts out on the right but it goes forward. South Africa scrum just outside our 22.
Scotland deemed to have stepped back at the scrum before engagement, so South Africa take a quick free-kick.

South Africa steal the lineout but two excellent counter-rucks in a row come from the hosts and it causes a knock-on.

South Africa knock on and then their captain Etzebeth gets involved in a scuffle. He’s penalised for it and we clear to halfway.
Pollard kicks it into the corner and Jordan keeps it in. We find touch inside our 22 as South Africa make six changes.
Russell sends the kick-off back to our 10 and into touch.

A turn-up for the books as South Africa are pinged at the scrum!

Another scrum as Russell’s pass is loose but South Africa can’t gather it cleanly.
An early chance here as South Africa mess up the restart in their own 22. We’ll have the scrum on our right flank.

Scrum penalty, but South Africa don’t find touch and Duhan kicks it out to end the first half.

Ben White penalised for taking too long at the ruck to clear. South African scrum deep in our 22.

It’s Kwagga Smith penalised. Finn going for goal from a similar position to the last one, slightly closer perhaps.
Meanwhile, the 20-minute red card is over and on comes Max Williamson.
Lucky from South Africa at the lineout as a loose ball falls perfectly for Thomas du Toit who coasts over untouched. Pollard converts.
Scotland 6-12 South Africa
South Africa nick it back and rampage forward through the boot of Le Roux and Mapimpi’s chase. But Russell recovers and Scotland exit.
Then the Springboks come forward again but this time it’s Duhan who recovers.
We kick to touch but it’s still inside our 22.
…but Russell is charged down! We’re still going forward.
Kicks from either side but Scotland will be the happier. It’s a long grubber down the right line from Kinghorn, and then Pollard hooks his kick out just outside their 22.
Eben Etzebeth put on his backside by Ewan Ashman! That was some hit.
Then Scotland win the penalty after Moodie knocked on. Touch is found just inside South Africa’s half.
The Springboks go quick at kick off and Russell returns it.

We kick through and South Africa go to run it back, but Dempsey is lightning quick to the ruck and South Africa hold on!
Russell points to the poles once more. This time it’s over 40 metres out and to the left.
Dummy feed into the scrum from Ben White and South Africa get a free kick. But they go quickly and knock it on! Oops.
We get another scrum, again just inside our 10m line.
South Africa drop it just inside our 10m line, we’ll have a scrum there.
Cummings’ yellow is upgraded to a 20-minute red card. Scotland will be able to bring on another player once 20 minutes is up, but Cummings’ game is over.
Scotland kick over the top and are obstructed in their chase.
Finn Russell will kick for goal. It’s around 30 metres out just right of the posts.

Time for our first scrum. Box kicks from both scrum halves, and South Africa knock the second one on so it’s our put-in on halfway.
Scotland set up the maul and it’s collapsed illegally by South Africa.
Russell’s penalty kick finds South Africa’s 10.
A few phases and Le Roux kicks through. Scotland lineout just outside our 22.
The resulting penalty is kicked to halfway.
Scott Cummings sees yellow for his ruck clear. It’ll be looked at by the bunker too.
Scotland pinch the lineout, work from side to side and win a penalty for the visitors not rolling.
But we’re going to the TMO to look at a dangerous ruck clear from Scott Cummings.

Scotland steal the lineout and Finn Russell nudges into the left corner. Scotland chase well but South Africa exit to halfway, our throw there.
Scotland’s pack opt for something creative but they’re marshalled into touch. South African throw on their 10.
South Africa box kick but Finn Russell gathers well from the skies, and the Boks infringe at the ruck.
We’ll now have a lineout on South Africa’s 10.
A good cross-field kick from Pollard finds Mapimpi in space in the left corner to score. Conversion is no good.

Excellent counter-rucking from Zander Fagerson gives us a solid defensive platform, but then there’s a ruck infringement and Pollard kicks the penalty into the right corner.
Our visitors have the first phases of possession, then kick for the corner but Duhan van der Merwe dives and catches, calling the mark and exiting to our 10.

It will now fall silent, as we take a minute to reflect on Remembrance Sunday.
That’s both teams back down the tunnel now. They’ll soon be stripped and ready for today’s encounter.
The players are coming towards the end of their warmups as Nathan Evans and Saint Phnx entertain the crowd from the centre of the pitch.
A special team arrival earlier as Scotland departed the bus further from the tunnel than usual in order to soak in that famous Scottish Gas Murrayfield atmosphere!
A first start for Tom Jordan, and those playing their club rugby outside of Scotland make their first appearances of the Autumn Nations Series.
