Hall, Jackson & Parks Added To Scotland Squad
Glasgow Warriors hooker Dougie Hall and stand-off duo Ruaridh Jackson and Dan Parks, have been re-called to the Scotland squad ahead of Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations Championship match against Wales in Cardiff to supplement the 22 who were on duty for yesterday’s 9-18 loss to France.The Scotland team to play Wales is due to be announced at 11.30am tomorrow (Tuesday 9 February).Glasgow Warriors hooker Dougie Hall and stand-off duo Ruaridh Jackson and Dan Parks, have been re-called to the Scotland squad ahead of Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations Championship match against Wales in Cardiff to supplement the 22 who were on duty for yesterday’s 9-18 loss to France.Also added to the squad are Mike Blair, Ben Cairns, Nick De Luca, Jim Hamilton (all Edinburgh), Scott Gray and Euan Murray (Northampton Saints), Simon Danielli (Ulster), Rory Lamont (Toulon) and Nikki Walker (Ospreys).Those who played in yesterday’s game were involved in recovery protocols today. Scotland team doctor James Robson said he would be monitoring the progress of the following players who sustained knocks in the French match: John Beattie (hip bruising), Kelly Brown (shoulder strain), Thom Evans (calf bruising), Nathan Hines (calf strain), Graeme Morrison (leg bruising) and Chris Paterson (calf bruising).The Scotland team to play Wales is due to be announced at 11.30am tomorrow (Tuesday 9 February).
